Another properly boring race at cota,at this point the best race ever to be held there is the alms 2013 race.....

Well at this point we're going to have to wait until PwC gets to the real race tracks to see exciting racing.

But good result for kpax,and a good wet drive for estre.

WOW, Estre was awesome in the rain today, what an epic drive!

Also, fantastic weekend for EFFORT Racing! Two podiums for Dalziel, and two wins for Lewis!

Finally, really impressed with Madison Snow's driving this weekend. He needs to race in World Challenge more often.

The McLaren was in another league in that race, and it was cool to see the Acura make up twenty spots during the race as well. Ryan Eversley did a great job.

COTA is a good track that produces good racing. PWC just isn't the best series for the track. Maybe the short course would work better.

Cota is a beautiful track and an ok layout,but has way to much run off.theres been some good races there but not to many of them that left me wanting to see more of the track.most leave me wanting to stop watching the race and hoping the series doesn't return.

Estres drive in the rain was impressive,but any mistake wouldn't have been bad because all the run off.henzlers drive at mid Ohio in 2012 was epic!

Mid Ohio 2011 will likely never be matched. That was just one of those epic drives that we'll be talking about thirty years from now.

This weekends races maybe weren't the stuff of legends, but there was plenty of really great racing amongst some really awesome cars and talented drivers.

God, you're a hard one to please. I distinctly remember you whining about the amount if yellow flag down time at Laguna Seca due to the lack of runoff.

I'd like to know when that was,laguna seca is one of my favorite places on earth.i would live there if I could,any changes to its layout and character really upset me

i may have complained about the increase in down time from fcy caused by gtc's and lmpcs' beaching in the gravel.but I would never want run off of any sorts be added to laguna seca!heck road america,road atlanta,sebring,mid Ohio,or even lime rock would also be ruined by run off,just like le mams is about to be.


I think Pwc should of stuck to one of the shorter tracks tat cota this weekend,made it a bit more exciting.its the first race anyways, I'm sure all the teams will get stronger I hope.if not diazel and effort will be as strong if not stronger than the end of last year.

Articus....Overall, the Caddy's had an average to successful weekend, depending on what car you were rooting for.

Race 1
#3 of Johnny O' finished 3rd
#8 of Andy Pilgrim finished 17th

Race 2
#3 of Johnny O' finished 7th
#8 of Andy Pilgrim finished 19th

Been checking my youtube subscriptions every hour waiting for them....heard Estre pants'd the field in race 2 and I must see it....cmon PWC!

I enjoyed watching the second race much more than the first, the weather did spice things up and created more passing on track, though the coverage was not the greatest at capitalizing on that action, missing a lot of what was going on within the pack. I know it's tough with that many cars, but the unpolished stream doesn't help.

Even though he was all on his own, Estre was really impressive to watch giving everything he had, even in the last couple of laps with half a minute in hand. He had that McLaren dancing in the esses and was taking no prisoners with the lap traffic.

Didn't they usually upload the full races only after the TV-broadcast had been aired last year?

Agree with all of that, and it was a joy to watch the McLaren in the wet. Don't think the circuit layout is ever going to provide same entertainment as Bathurst did recently! One thing that would have helped the coverage IMHO would have been some in car footage, but guess providing that takes the whole thing up a level or two?
