They need two full-season entries in the Blancpain GT Series, one of them in Pro. Technically BMW fails to meet this as they only have one car at Monza.

But, since they have two cars in the full IGTC season, they should still be allowed to race in the Pro Cup at Spa.

Smith reacted to the Ferrari looking like it was about to come over. The Lambo had space on drivers left to use and didn't use it.

Ferrari didn't need to move. Smith didn't need to react. Lambo didn't need to hold its line. Perfect storm.

Smith is exaggerating because it's his fault. The Ferrari did move - even the commentators said it. But Smith over reacted. Its still his fault but the Ferrari and Lambo didn't need to do what they did either.

Isn't the track getting narrower before turn 1?
I think that's the case on the right side (= the pole position side) ?

Yes it does. The blue Ferrari was about to run our of tarmac. The yellow Ferrari couldn't stayed straight and it'd be fine, but it drifted over slightly. Smith over reacted to the Ferrari moving over and moved to his left. The Lambo didn't move at all and they touched.

Also what's the deal with the pack bunching? The leaders slowed down at one point and the back of the pack had to brake. The blue Ferrari and Bentley shouldn't have even been able to get alongside. Its like the yellow Ferrari was trying to jump it...and then he sailed over the grass anyway.

Another replay there shows the yellow Ferrari move for no reason at all. Smith over reacted and hit the Lambo.

As for the pack bunching. I guess that's what happens when you have 2 silver AM drivers starting up at the front...

Lambo probably didn't have time to react. And certainly wouldn't see the Ferrari moving so doesn't know what's happening to his right. Smith definitely moved because the yellow Ferrari made a movement towards him.
