Now this could be wishful thinking - but Autohebdo reporting Loeb, Raikkonen & Coulthard in a Red Bull Peugeot @ LM...
..... taken from Mariantic . Wasnt it Autohebdo that released the rumour about a Mexican Pug too ? Im a bit sceptical about their latest rumour . |

It has been mentioned before .
Just to clear up what this rumor is about, so there wont be any miss interpretations. Kimi Raikonnen is going to run a Citroen C4 WRC car, which main sponsor is Red Bull. Kimi Raikonnen is linked to be driving a Red Bull F1 in 2011. Sebastian Loeb is also running a Citroen C4 WRC, sponsored by Red Bull, and is very likely to be driving a 908 at Le Mans. As Peugeot and Citroen is part of the PSA concern, their cooperation is very large, which can be seen in numerous events earlier (drivers testing C4 WRC, and 908's, switching in team staff). Peugeot is selling/leasing a 908. Putting all this together, gives a pattern which is: Peugeot 908 Red Bull, driven by: Sebastian Loeb, Kimi Raikonnen and TBA. Kimi Raikonnen will not race for VAG this season, eventhough Red Bull is main sponsor for 2 of Audi's DTM cars. VAG is a competition for PSA, so they wont allow it. |

Very interesting, Larbre would most certainly be fit to enter the car successfully. Plus, they have long-lasting ties with Pedro Lamy so there would be a connection at least.

At Le Mans, yes. It remains to be seen how many LMS rounds Peugeot will do plus they always have too many drivers for that.

And if Larbre have Peugeot on their side then it strengthens their fight with the ACO for a spot at Le Mans, as long as the car runs an all pro lineup otherwise its a waste of a good car and a good team. I couldnt see Lamy in a Larbre Pug but yeah Bouchut would be a shoe in at least.
The last time Larbre ran in P1 was at Le Mans in 2004 with the Panoz, loving all these rumours even if they come to naught. A Red Bull 908 would sure look nice. |

I know he has been with Peugeot in the past but I doubt he would be a good choice to drive the 908.
The car obviously requires open-wheel experience to be driven really on the limit, it's not a conincidence that all drivers on the Peugeot squad have driven F1 or other high-profile single seaters before. Given the fact that Bouchut was not quick enough in the Pescarolo makes me doubt if he's a good choice to drive a LMP. |

Still early news at the moment - Autohebdo is reporting that Oreca is confirmed to run the fourth 908: Clicky.

I've just seen that too
Olivier Panis will be 100% sure one of the drivers(he said few months earlier a 908 or nothing) Good choice, but in same time I feel sad for Pescarolo |

Agreed, although in 2009 his Pug had to settle for a supporting role, Henri was only ever going to win if all the factory cars ran into difficulties. I assume the same will be the case for Oreca.
On a positive note, the Oreca liveried car will look absolutely stunning!! |

Big difference with Pescarolo this year, Oreca will have more time to be used to the car(especially the drivers), and they will also run the complete LMS championship By the way a photoshop of Mondrian livery on the 908 http://www.endurance-info.com/2009_L...eot2010_02.jpg |
