BUY a Pesca, or a Lola, Buy an AER engine and run as fast as . . .
Errr just BUYING and OWNING does not mean that car can run as fast. Takes a whole team of engineers and drivers to dial any car in. Now a well seasoned team of ppl working together AND a top contender, that is a differnt story. |

Times are in for the final (Monday afternoon) session........
........what on earth did they give Bob Berridge for lunch (assuming it was Bob who posted that laptime)? Only the GT1's failed to improve on the quickest laptime for their class a year ago. The guys at Barazi-Epsilon must be delighted with their new toy, and the Team Bruichladdich Radical appears to have found more pace thanks to the 2007 developments. How long before Mike Newton/RML puts in an order for those 2007 updates from Lola? |

Amazing turnaround for the P1 Lola's.
I wonder if Dyson are, if not regretting their decision, at least having second thoughts. |

Not to mention lack of performance, but I guess with 32 laps you can't really "dial it in" But I hope Johny Carwash's racecar gets better.

DSC are reporting that the Charouz Lola was reportedly touching 324kph down the main straight last weekend, it will be interesting to see if they can go any faster at Le Mans and indeed what the other front runners can do. I wonder what the chances are of seeing top speeds of over 330kph are at Le Mans in qualifying this year?

shame that the AER engine was not this good last year, dyson may still have been in LMP1 otherwise. |
