Remember last year when Adrian Burgess announced that they had found something significantly wrong in the car that had been overlooked..........I guess rectifying the problem didn't correspond to a better race car.

I'm going to assume you didn't watch the race then...

Tander finished 5th after coming through the field, and Courtney finished 7th.

They certainly had some shocking moments, like when Courtney took out 3 team cars in one mistake, but 5th and 7th isn't a bad result.

Regarding HRT, should a driver be penalised for infringing upon a team mate?

The argument for this is that the drivers are racing and scoring points as individuals.

The argument against is that as long as team orders are allowed (and I don 't see an enforceable alternative) the drivers aren't racing as individual at all - but as a team.

Courtney got off when he turned Jnr Johnson around in Townsville several years ago for that very same reason

peckstar has a lot of promise if they can keep it on the circuit!
however Frosty got pinged for turning reynolds around at darwin in 2013.

I thought they had moved on from letting turning your team mate around go unpunished

Yeah, I'm sure they'll have their moments in the sunshine, but the cars still don't look any better to me so far.

Have been wondering why no penalty for Courtney turfing Tander also.
I feel like there has been a few similar team mate incidents that have resulted in a penalty. BJR cars?

TOLL HRT TEAM-MATES CLASH IN HORROR RACE

Toll HRT's Garth Tander
Race 11 of the 2010 V8 Supercars Championship Series at Winton Motor Raceway will not go down as a great one for the Toll Holden Racing Team.
The day started well enough, with both Garth Tander and Will Davison qualifying in the top 10, but things progressively got worse.
Tander made a lightening start from grid spot two and led the opening stages of the race but was delayed in his pit stop, which he says was set off due to a tight squeeze between his pit crew and TeamVodafone.
That incident dropped him down the field, but worse was to come on the penultimate lap when he ran into the side of team-mate Davison at turn 11.
Tander said the pair had been dicing hard earlier, however, the incident with barely a lap to go was unfortunate.
“(Jonathon) Webb was diving down the inside of him, and I went to go down the inside of him, but the hole closed,” he told Speedcafe.com.au.
“With the tyres the way they were, and the amount of grip available, we made contact, which is obviously unfortunate for both of us.
“He came past me pretty aggressively a few laps earlier. I saw him and got out of the way, but this time he didn’t quite see. We’ve had a chat, and we’ve put it behind us and tomorrow is another day.
“It’s not ideal, but you put it behind you and that’s what we’ve done.”

If you are talking about Winton, Courtney got a drive through, if I am not mistaken.

Yep, talking about the recent Winton round.
Thanks, I was not aware there was a drive thru.
