From ‘Sporting Minis’:-
“Sorry to hear that Terry Harmer has died. Terry began his racing career in a 998 Cooper in 1966 before racing his Downton tuned 970 extensively over the next three seasons with many wins and multiple podiums. A 1300 followed in BSCC races and Special Saloons which Terry competed with in over 200 races notching up eighty wins! Terry went on to race a 1275GT with Paul Soames until 1978 before finally a Metro based Special GT in the early 90s.”

1960's Minis go to battle | John Whitmore Trophy 2021 full race | Goodwood Revival.
"Forty five minutes, two drivers, 30 Minis. These are the ingredients for the Goodwood Revival's John Whitmore Trophy presented by Sure, a magnificent celebration of the history of the Mini Cooper, played out at full throttle. The cars looked amazing, the drivers list easily matched it. Martin Brundle, Alex Brundle, Darren Turner, Jean-Eric Vergne, Neel Jani, Andre Lotterer, Andy Priualx Romain Dumas and more jumped into the tiny machines to fight it out for glory."
