If you believe one of the MANY MANY MANY MANY stories around.. anything is conceptually possible… probable might require a substantially different assessment… and the scrutineering would had had to have failed at every event all year… sounds doubtful

Well, just wait another five minutes. I was thinking about the Coke thing yesterday, didn't have to wait long. You have to start wondering what has gone down for naming sponsors to walk like that? I am not a big fan of the team, or should I say a couple of the personalities in it. I did think it was a good thing for the series to have them win. It will be a shame for the series to see them implode and drop down the field.

The cheating thing is always a possibility. As the season went on the more I started to wonder how Erebus was keeping their edge. If you have cleaver people around there is always little things that can be done, unless taken off and tested you may never know. Depending what is being checked. Cheating in motorsport could be a subject you could study, in fact it is fascinating.

Oh well, we will see what happens tomorrow, It is a story that just keeps giving.

Plenty of billable hours will be being racked up by the legal profession as parties go over the fine print in contracts. If there were to be any legal action for breach of contract that would take months if not longer to get into court. The only likely action in the short term would be Erebus seeking an injunction restraining Brodie from racing elsewhere should he try to do a deal with another team for the period under which he is still contracted (end of 2024 I believe).

I think you will find that there is little more to be learnt at this stage. Brodie probably has his phone off, his manager won't saying anything and all other parties will say refer to our earlier statements. It will come out in the end, but at this stage all investigative avenues are probably dead ends.

I'm thinking that there might’ve been bits of somebody's contract with performance incentives that went unpaid, despite the KPI's being hit/surpassed... perhaps the disgruntled contracted party approached Supercars to enquire as to whether failure to honour said contract breached some code of conduct or another under some charter or another... and was perhaps met with silence or similar... so perhaps he took his bit of paper to the folks who underwrite it and asked them what they thought...
