I had words with the same young Moffat a couple of years ago when he was in a FF, he was nearly visiting the CAMS stewards for a little fine. Angry rude little man.

Just got back from QR. FFF def have the VE in Bing Lee livery and the FG in white with a triple F logo on the back door. The 66 car is an ex Morris mobile recently bought by an eldery looking gentlemen (surname Foster going by the timing monitor in the cafe).

888 cars look awesome, as does the Castrol car. Supercheap doesn't look too bad in the flesh.

Great to see and hear the cars again! Pity bout the rain. 51 and 1 did a heap of back to back pitstop practice during the wet...with Mr Morris at the wheel of 51 for awhile.

Phill Foster is a former Fujitsu series racer, long time associate of Shane Beikoff and his team, last raced the venerable but Shannons V8 series race winning AU Falcon in 2004, then raced Aussie Racing Cars briefly. Since then Foster has been racing Spintcars in his home state, Queensland. Interesting that Phill's making a comeback.

He's not that elderly .

Four Holdens tested last week, 14 cars yesterday, the remaining 11 main game cars and two Fujitsu cars today. Interesting that Jono Webb was fastest in the Tekno Autosports car, but even if running soft tyres nobody came within seven tenths of the lap record. Track may have been a bit cold with the weather.

But if a car ends up in the wall they may be in a bit of strife, containers have to be packed on Saturday as I understand.

Take it up with VESA, they gave the Walky teams the leave pass.

SVG and SBR tops time sheets at QR

Is this a sign of Ford Quality vs Holden Quantity for the season ahead

All the top runners running green tyres late in the day (no soft tyres used unlike Winton test)

Only cars not use Green tyres where 888 as they have another test on Friday

Considering SVG has made a name for himself as the rain man, yes, if EVERY race this year is wet, expect a similar ting. any dry races and bye bye SVG.

I believe Dunlop in Australia is owned by South Pacific Tyres, which is owned by Goodyear.

Beaurepaires is a part of the Goodyear empire too.

I think either Beaurepaires or Goodyear corporate colours would look just as nice as Dunlop colours on a FPR Falcon.

It was dry when times were done at the end of the day
Also a faster time than the race record

Yes the three Fiore Brothers did test, Dean ran the FG and Paul and Todd where in the Bing Lee VE getting ready for the Fujitsu series. As far as I know they only drove their car, the 66 was being driver by Phil Foster.
