8th now. In pits. Still ahead of the LMP2s.
But not on fire. |

There's almost as many posts on this first race as there was for the whole WEC season (apart from Le Mans) last year

Glick stopped on track.
The cold tyres influencing the pit stops as you’d expect. |

That Glick is going to vanish for good after Le Mans I think…

GT drama. Oh no, Iron Dames ripped off the rear.
Peugeot in trouble again. FCY to clear up the bits of Porsche. Vanwall problems too. Suddenly madness. But we have a chance of mourning for the Glickenhaus. |

Turn 1 bites again. Rahel Frey takes the GT-leading Iron Dames Porsche for a rough ride and rips the diffuser off. FCY for the debris on track.
And a Peuguet has spun at the final corner. |

That incident at sunset was really silly.

Well, that was embarrassing. Peugeot into the back of Vanwall as the latter slowed for the FCY.
Back to green. |

Ah, Vanwall and Peugeot issue is related. They messed up the FCY.

Peugeot is running out of cars in their team to have problems, so might as well start inflicting the pain on other teams.

A Ferrari closing in on a Porsche at Sunset Bend.
Look at that sentence friends. |

Got to say it is nice to see the FCYs get boxed off very quickly for basic debris clearance. When the pits were open under the old regs they had to wait for every man and his dog to pit.
Also this is one of the all-time bad races for Peugeot. Bit of a clown show unfortunately. |

Vanwall back out 18th, i'll be watching the rise back up the order with interest. A real shame, not their fault.
