This SC seems unnecessary? Not really sure why we've done this whole VSC to SC process.

Nah. It is just they were the first ones so that doesn’t help. Always easier for those behind. And in the moment you have to chose quickly. Just racing.

This - neither wanted to cede track position to the other by pitting. Once the rest of the hypercars did, it was too late to react.

Assuming full green, all hypercars should have the same number of stops.

Yes, on fuel the leaders have lost out. They may be able to make it back on tyres (they will have newer tyres for more of the race), depending on how the track rubbers in.

Ferrari looks fast... on brand new tyres compared to others with double stinted on 1 side. Looks this will be damage limitation as they predicted indeed.

However I think it's not necessarily about the exact placement of the speed trap but maybe about the fact it doesn't work as it should. ST placement in Brazil looked ok on track map but the data was completely rubbish.

Not sure I trust the map. I think they just put it somewhere pretty randomly. Turn up. Ooo, here looks fine. Fancy a beer?

I never worked out what was going on in São Paulo. However we do see lift and coast here, which isn’t that new a phenomena as it was important in Group C and other times, but we now get to see the detail a bit more.

In a tiny way I’ve used it. Although that was more that I didn’t trust the fuel gauge. Still first class win. Woo!

They need to swap the Alpine's around. Vaxivierre is too slow.
