Looking at the lap times the tyre deg is significant through a stint. I would imagine that people are trying their double stinting early on giving them super tyres at the end?

Toyota look best placed to cope with this too.

More than significant, I'd say huge. But same for many, yes?

It is given the speed Vanthoor was catching at.

Daft move from Stevens, if he kept his line Vanthoor was stuck behind him anyway. Deserved penalty.

Yes.
Although Toyota are saying the mediums are going off. They are 5s off their best pace...

Best laps are right at the beginning of the race for most. Tyres were good and no back markers.

It was Toyota |#7 who had the clear air and that helped here. Everyone else was battling.

AND NEWS - Toyota #7 has a problem...
