I’d quite like to see Hill get the triple!

Taylor-Smith being an absolute menace this race
I'll admit I am surprised the BMW has held up so well on the hard tyre. |

But I now see what you were referring to - an insult towards a driver that is clearly not warranted. I am still surprised that nobody saw the BMW (already the most competitive car in the field) doing well at the track (with the possible exception of Croft) that suits it the most out of all that the series visits. |

With BMWs so fast here, I can see Sutton and Ingram being in a huge trouble after Croft.

Can't see him being that lucky this season, he's already had three sh.tty races, whereas Ingram's consistency is absolutely impeccable.

Ingram was a bit over dramatic with his dash to block Sutton but Sutton should have either stood his ground and turned Ingram into the pit wall or back out. The wrong choice was what he did and tried to avoid contact with Ingram and steered himself into the wall. Racing incident in my opinion. Sutton will look back and say he should have backed out I’d have thought. Ingram may get a slap on the wrist for his aggressive blocking.
Another disappointing meeting in my opinion if I’m honest. And the support racing was less than exciting too. BMWs have definitely had some help since Thruxton. |

Wouldn't call it disappointing, pretty good races this weekend in my opinion. Although the difference between the hard and soft tyre is way too big, that's not racing.

If the BMW had more help than the start line restrictions (which they had before Thruxton) but no one really noticed as they were not winning then they would have been higher in Qualifying - not 2, 7, 10 and 12... they have run on the softs rather than the mediums and it's been warm and dry on a track they have won at by much bigger margins in the past.
I am sure if there was more then Harvey would have been wittering on about it considering he's normally quick to get in a mention of anything like that affecting the perceived RWD advantage everywhere. |

Congratulations to Turkington, I hope anybody who doubts his overtaking skills will think again today. It's good for the championship that one of it's best and most successful drivers is also one of the most modest and quietest.

Rowbottom relieving a verbal warning again… seems like he has been to see the stewards every meeting so far this year.

Cammish not happy with the safety car in R3 - presumably must be about the late signal and perhaps being overtaken by others who didn’t slow?

A testament to how well Sutton and Ingram have performed so far this season when you look at the relative strength of their cars:

However I digress, I doubt any changes have been made, just a warm day at a track that has suited BMW in the past. |
