Very much so. Engström was running up front in a few races last season but the car always broke down for him. With added support from JAS and a real top driver (not saying Engström is not good) they should be up there winning races.

Thed most certainly has got the stuff to win the championship. The Honda is fast enough, but to win the championship they need to get consistancy, quick pitstops and a reliable engine - something they did not have in 2007.

I think the main problem of KMS is budget not the cars. In the last years they had backing from Audi and related sub-sponsors. Audi has left and so far they were not able to find new sponsors. Other problem is they are uncertain about 2009. I think they assumed they would get Audi backing back in 2009, but according TouringCarTimes that's not sure. It looks like also Matthias Ekstrom's racing team is a possibility to run the STCC team. BTW Because of developing a new DTM car Audi Sport did not have the resources to develop a S2000 car based on the new A4. In 2009 DTM gets new technical regulations. Has Audi the resources to develop a S2000 A4 for 2009? |

I dont think we will se KMS in the STCC, but I dont think its impossible that we will se an A4 in the STCC.

PG Andersson will tomorrow announce that he'll drive all 15 rallys for Suzuki in WRC, so no racing for him then. |

I seriously doubt that Polestar will sell their S60 cars, not now at least. I have no doubt that they are/will be completely stripped from parts for the C30 cars.

Göransson, Dahlgren inspect STCC street race A few questions about that one. Are they running clockwise or anticlockwise? And is the layout set so that is how the track will really look? And only 30.000 spectators?!? Surely they could get a lot more then that, and it must be room for way more stands? |

Falkenberg is now set for a round next year on 13th of July. "Next good news will hopefully be revealed tomorrow", I hope that means confirmation on the Gothenburg race. |

STCC.se reports that KMS are still looking for new sponsors to come up with money to run 2 Audis in STCC next year without support from Audi in Germany and Audi Sweden. They need a budget of 1 million euro to run them, so far they dont have that. And the 3rd car has been sold to Spain.

So if they make it to raise the money, they won't have a spare car?

Didnt they sell their spare car from last season to Finland? So I guess not. Better off trying to make the budget by selling the spare car rather then to have a spare car but no budget to race.
