The only downside to that race were the two stage cautions. That was a great and relatively clean race, ton's of strategy with tires. I really enjoyed that one.

Yup! Then KFB will tell us they suck at wash wipes, that they're horrendous. Which on Gibbs vs Hendrick at the moment they probably would be
On another note how long's it gonna be before Ty Gibbs starts getting more hate than the Busch's? Right old teenage temper tantrum at Martinsville. |

I watched most of the truck race last night. It was mostly enjoyable.

There's a church service going on at Bristol. I've already done that today. Let's do something else, FOX and NASCAR.

I am curious what the numbers will be for the broadcast. Although most everyone I know who was dedicated to watching Cup back in Va watched every week, even West Coast races that were on during dinner. If the market this morning is any indication, Easter ain't slowing anything down, busy busy this morning

Not sure how much they have run on Easter, but traffic market in Decatur / Atlanta vs NASCAR fanbase might not be the best comparison!
Crowd looks pretty rough, as does DW, but not sure how it compares to year's past. Mud clogs the story so far.... |

I assumed it would be sold out. We’ve just said how we could have gone!
Poor Briscoe. He seems to be the only one who can challenge Larson. At the moment. |

Clint’s view is it should go back to green to stop the conversation of how scoring works at Bristol. I agree.

We were in Avondale Estates today, and I've actually seen more motorsport stuff there that most every place else. Actually seen IMSA, Glickenhaus and stock car stuff, and not all hipsters, at the markets. Last edited by broadrun96; 18 Apr 2022 at 02:05. |

1989 last time they ran on Easter and that was b/c a snow storm delay from Richmond.
Not sure the crowd is much different in the last 5 as this is the first Bristol race I've watched in 10. I'm enjoying it but I think they should give these guys super late models. Team them up with a World of Outlaws team / driver and do an enduro! 1000 laps / 500 miles! Green flag only driver changes. No lucky dogs. It'll be the Bathurst 1000 of NASCAR |

https://racer.com/2022/04/18/i-tried...-move-briscoe/ From Briscoe: "I hate that neither of us won, but I think Tyler understood, and he was really cool about it and said he would have tried the exact same thing. He said it was his fault for letting me even get there in the first place.” And "“If he punched me, he punches me,” Briscoe said. “I get it. I think it was just a racing deal, and we’ll see what he says.” The conversation was friendly when Briscoe arrived at Reddick’s car. Reddick felt no ill-will toward Briscoe and admitted he would have made the same move. Reddick also put it on himself or allowed Briscoe to erase his lead in the final few laps." |

Just caught up. Went to bed.
Cool stuff between them at the end. Reddick was too harsh on himself. Briscoe was super nice. And these aren’t criticisms. At least it wasn’t Lagano that benefited. |

I caught the last stage only . That was actually quite fun to watch! You knew some wrecks were coming but glad they got to the finish.

Caught up on the Bristol races mid week and have to admit thoroughly enjoyed them.
Just watched 'Dega, and was pleasantly surprised at the fact it didn't resemble a demolition derby. Ross Chastain is really performing well in this new car. Thought Erik Jones might have got 43 to Victory Lane, came up a little short but a great drive. |

Nice the crashes were kept to a minimum. Felt for Jones.
