if you enjoy clio racing there's always barc's clio cup that'll be continuing - multiple classes for the older cars and different budget levels. runs at the usual circuits and last year had superkarts on the same programme which is pretty epic.

Another potential entry for 2019 is the ex Team Aon Focus S2000 from 2011. Think it raced last in Britcar but is being setup with a 2012 WTCC Mountune engine.

Now there was a car. Shame it only had one season in the championship, before Arena went off to the world stage

It depends on how strict the rules are - if it's just having an eligible shell and bunging your own running gear and engine in then that's one thing, but if you've got to run it in 'proper' spec then that's something else. I know someone that bought a super 2000 shell and ran a pretty much standard engine in it - relatively cheap to run.

Take off and nuke them from orbit. It's the only way to be sure...

Wandering a bit wide of topic: what's Dan Lloyd up to this year?... I've not heard a peep (or have slept through an announcement!)

He's done some testing on behalf of WSC for the BOP, but that's it.

Lines has been running 2 VW championships for a few years now - I think when they took over, Stu was racing in BTCC as well. The 2 championships were running on different weekends, so it would have been very time consuming.

They’ll be modest numbers at worst this season

Any confirmation that the others who'd committed to TCRUK, are coming across to TCT? i.e. Wilson, Kent, SWR, the other chap with the FK2 Civic?
Toss those in with the Teamwork/Huff/Cicely cars, the 2-3 cars from Maximum, Mr Swift, and I think there was someone else(?), it doesn't look too bad. |

howard fuller the "living legend" from his own description from his website; "Howard is a living legend, qualified motorsports engineer and an educator for those who love driving sports cars." "Arguably one of the most talented racing car drivers of his generation" https://www.howardfullerracing.co.uk/ thats just plain embarrasing calling himself that (his website says hes doing the vw racing cup) Last edited by touring fan01; 13 Apr 2019 at 12:09. |

Don't know the guy but I'm hoping that site is just a reflection of his sense of humour. Lines like "most talented Surrey racer" would lean towards that I think.
