Richard, that's the other Gustavo behind you, not Yacaman. You don't have to seek revenge that car.

Sarrazin losing touch with Di Grassi. Gap between 3rd and 4th is pretty constant.

Sarrazin's losing touch with di Grassi, and falling into the clutches of Webber.

Even better news for the #8, Webber has only marginally caught up in this stint so far. It looks like they're coping well with the old rights.

Now 10 seconds, which is still close compared to most of the races at this stage so far this season. Top three are within 20 seconds, top four within about 35 seconds.
Now a serious question: If di Grassi, who clearly has the faster car, catches up to Leib, will he let the #8 by, given that the #8 Audi team is the #2 Porsche's closest competitor in the drivers' title hunt? |

Only time anyone's gaining on di Grassi is when he's held up by traffic/the get a break in traffic. Then the leads grows back out.
That said, Webber is now within 14 seconds of the lead, and about 4 away from catching Sarrazin. |

I wonder if Sarrazin is really this off pace or if it's used tires.

Di Grassi's rears are giving up according to Lucas, but with a 10 second lead and ~10 laps to go (and Sarrazin behind) he should be able to manage it.

And even with worn tires, he's still pulling away on clear track.

Audi has what, four stops left? Pitting now shouldn't affect them overall ... so long as there are no cautions. Right, three .... I can count, I just need help.

#8 pits, they must have back-timed the stop because from here it will be three full stints for the R18.
Edit - another long stop for Audi, almost 90 seconds compared to the sub-85 for every other stop. |

Audi pitting earlier... Just increasing their chances of getting caught by a FCY...
