McConville stuffed it into the wall at turn 3 or thereabouts on his out lap.

Yeah - he put all four wheels across the apex kerb at turn 4. Cut the corner fully - cromley picked up on it straight away. Silly boy Frosty.

The drivers of #4 and #6 are on looooong contracts, and Ford does not have the pennies to recruit some super-dooper-star to either car so they will stay in the bottom half of the top ten with the odd top five, and rare race win. Although A. Davisons pace is still not so clear.
Does anyone have some ideas on potential "next Ambroses" Ford could recruit? Holdsworth - overlooked for HRT drive?, Russell or Moffat blitzing the development series? the always quick Steve Owen a potential star?, Johnny Reid from across the ditch? Some overlooked by F1 and run out of cash GP2 top driver or Le Mans ace perhaps? Matt Neal? |

One thing I have noticed is Jeld-Wen and Stegbar plastered all over JC's helmet and Jim Beam on Will Davison's helmet. Do they still retain some personal sponsorship, or are they waiting for their new helmet + new artwork to arrive from the artist?

So is Kerb hopping back on the enganda? How wide do we make a rack?
If you Kirb hop, you risk damage to tyres, damage to the dreaded watts linkage, damage to a p**** bolt. Why risk kerb hopping? "THe cars great, I'LL look after it as I go around" Then the visor drops and all common sense disapears Ahh drivers, don't you just love them? I would rather a bottle in front of me , than a frontal labbotomy. |

It goes without saying the 750000 is an absurd salary really for any V8 Supercar driver, unless they dominate the series and the publicity is worth it. Maybe the performance would be better with a 250000 driver and 500000 worth of extra go-fast widgets with the remainder?
