Not ESM or SMP. Maybe G-Drive if they were thinking of running a second car and Oz already has the Ligier connection? No idea, really.

What could possibly be the Gibson 015S in a Dunlop test at Estoril, Portugal yesterday?

Let's face it, one of the big unknowns we're all looking at is what the collapse of the rouble, the performance of the Russian economy, and the oil price overall is likely to do. In that light I suspect there are a couple of ELMS and WEC entires that might sadly disappear between now and Silverstone. |

The 05's tub has already been in use for 10 or 11 months and my impression is ORECA is a larger organization than Onroak so I don't think it's that bad assuming they're able to roll out multiple cars very quickly. |

Some more news here from the Estoril test, including Harry Tincknell leaving Jota (for Nissan?).

Full list:
http://www.europeanlemansseries.com/...ver-040215.pdf Slightly less cars than I anticipated but some one-offs are expected. Overall a very healthy entry! |

That is for the link. Massive entry turnover in each class compared to last year. Only 5 of the same P2 entrants, might imply a few unhappy entrants from last year (might not though, some are in WEC).
12 P2s is good though, here's hoping most of them stay in now the LM list is known. |

I wonder what happened to Prospeed and Race Performance. Both of them looked likely to enter the ELMS (or WEC) with 1 or more cars, over the last few months.

Perrodo moved to AF Corse for WEC, and perhaps their GTC car has moved to Blancpain?
Franck Mailleux is doing the Nurburgring 24 hours, which clashes with ELMS Imola so Race Performance would have to find another driver? http://www.endurance-info.com/fr/fra...n-glickenhaus/ Michel Frey says "but I am not sure I will still be at the wheel next year." http://www.dailysportscar.com/2014/1...2015-plan.html |

12 p2s is a great number. it was a decent field last year and this year it's getting even better. hopefully there's buyers for all these seats that are going. makes you wonder what would have happened to the lmp3 grid if ginetta hadn't made their car though... |

So you have 4x GT3 AF Corse, 3x GT2 AF Corse, and the 2x AF Corse assisted SMP P2s. With 9 cars that's 26% of the grid consisting just them

They are a massive operation. They've helped out GT racing and sports car racing in general for quite sometime now. Really impressive.

Quite...
I hope this 'spec tire for class X' mandating for ELMS isn't gonna spread elsewhere. It always starts somewhere. |

Not a whisper about the (former) Lotus/Praga P2 car(s).
The first modern P2 to arrive at the scene and the first to disappear in the unknown... |

It wasn't the greatest ever really. Besides the P1 Kodewa doesn't look radically different from it so the 'legacy' lives on regardless

While the P2 and P3 numbers are strong, the GT class entry figures are rather disappointing. In 2014, ELMS had between 12 and 14 cars at each race in both GTE-Am and GTC. This year there are only 15 combined season-long entries total between the two classes. And we can’t really blame the WEC, as that series’ GT classes didn’t see much of an increase in car count.
Oh, and what happened to IMSA Performance? |
