Considering how much more talent he has compared to Mr Holdsworth you'd think he should hand out a shellacking like Chaz did recently.

Very good for the young ones coming through to have some real opposition against a lot of guys who were retired for 10 years and didn't really put much of a mark on the Supercars ledger before they retired anyway.

I'd make the suggestion that the Carrera Cup talent is at a fair bit higher level than TCR.

A lot of people think Carrera Cup is, apart from a couple at the front, a gentlemans' play-piece, with the appropriate level of talent. So if Carrera Cup is so much better than TCR as you suggest, Mr Lowndes should win TCR by the proverbial country mile. Bet he won't though..... as he's really not as good as all the fanboys think.

While semi on the topic, if CL is as great as eveyone thinks, why isn't he racing something almost every weekend? Other, lesser thought of, drivers can get drives in pretty much anything they want whenever they want, so why not Mr Lowndes?

I think CL not being in every racecar under the sun is a reflection of what he wants to do with his time, rather than team owners thinking he’s not good enough to have a steer.

I’d hate to see what you will think of Whincup next year...

Still some technical issues with the coverage, like incorrect white balance on some of the cameras, interference on the in-car microphone, and the in-car cameras sometimes either freezing going blocky. But top efforts for trying!

Put a rated pilot with an urgency streak in the lead car (like last year) and watch it go. The customer car seems stronger than the “works” ones too.

#1 son is still around the pace/position of last year too

Mr Mostert & Mr Tander are super strong in the Audi because that fancy dancing thing is better managed in their cockpits than blokes who are learning car/circuit/driving at that level.
