Ted Walker should be qualifying in the top 10 on the grid
Going back to the ACA BT30s Interesting to hear that the second car has been "discovered".There was a rumour a couple of years ago that a dealer had discovered the remains of one but it was not available to view.

BT30-23 First Outing Thruxton Easter Monday 1970. It could be that Tommy Reid could have been involved somewhere along the line ???.Westbury drove it that day.

Ted what was really frustrating was the the photo of the ACA BT30 must have been taken in the last 12 months and posted on TNF by one of the guys from Sth.America, but I couldn't get diddly squat out of him. So near but so far! It looked stunning too.
I am now in indirect contact with the Fangio museum in the hope that we can establish which cars survive.

I am collating the BT30's results the we have cleaned so far and will post in the next day or so, then you can all have a bit of target practice shooting holes in it!
Ditto the BT36's

The formatting hasn't quite turned out as I expected, I work an Apple so its gone from Excel to Word to 10 Tenths via copy & paste. In the process things like BT30/9 has Japan May 3rd but no result, this should have been deleted altogether but I missed it. Sorry for any confusion.

The usual caveats apply, and its posted here for any corrections that you can add so I dont view it as a definative list by any means.

It would be very helpful if someone in the UK could see if the owners of #15 and #26 can supply any info on the missing years

Andrew, a very impressive piece of work. I had a similar problem with layout witha a spreadsheet I wanted to post to an F1 thread.

I can make any changes you want, and have deleted the 'Japan May 3rd' entry!

BT30-14 , after Del Schlomer car was found and came to Australia with Brian Wilson , then sold to Art Valdez in the U.S.A.

Spelling , is it not Israel , not your Isreal.

Very impressive Andrew. The use of "isreal" alongside one or two of these BT30s was obviously a Freudian slip.

A few owner additions. BT30x was not really a BT30 ??? It was a special frame built to take the V8 climax engine for Mike McDowell. I owned it for a short spell. I also rescued BT30-16 from a barn in the early 80s My late father and I restored it and after a lot of pestering from my friend Lincoln Small sold it to him

Do you recall who owned it before you?

BT30x was owned prior to me by David Riscworth from Warwick. He also owned at the sametime the Ex Watson Bt30-11

Now we're cooking!

This pinpoints BT30-11 part way through that long gap between Phillip Guerola stripping bits off it in 1976 for his Wimhurst and David McL having it in 2003.

Ted, do you have anything else on BT30-11 during this period?

"DAVID FORCE" - can you add anything?

Allen. I sold it via David Riscworth to Kelvin Lambeth, who let it languish prior to selling it to David "force"

Big gap filled there Ted. Thanks.

After the comments earlier about it losing its suspension, engine and 'box to the Wimhurst, could you comment on how much of it had been reassembled by the time you had it?

Some gaps and recollections, I purchased BT30-8 from Jon Bradburn mid 80's before selling it to Andrew. He told me it had come from a hillclimber (and therefore the aluminium fuel tanks had survived). I believe BT30X-1 now survives as the chassis plate on a rather nasty recreation (of a "standard" BT30) in Japan and the remains of the real chassis with Steve Worrad. As an aside -a detachable rear crossmember-really Andrew!

BT30-11 was a complete working car with its Watson engine cover when I knew it

Sorry Ted, I didn't explain myself very well. Guerola had a Wimhurst libre car built for himself in 1976 and some of the parts in the Wimhurst were said to have come from his previous car, which was BT30-11. The comment I was referring to was this one, by Tim Barry on 1 Feb 2004 which is post #79 on this new thread:

Just a quick thought concerning Philip Guerola's BT30. I believe that the car was cannibalised and the suspension, wheels, engine and gearbox were used in the construction of the Wimhurst FAtlantic by Len Wimhurst for Philip to race in FAt and Group 8.
Do you know if that was the case? Either way, it must have been all back in one piece by the time you had it.

Allen.Just looked through my notes I took at the time (1985) When David Riscworth had it and it says he bought it from Jonathon Braburn.(he is a dealer)

So Bradburn owned BT30-6, BT30-8 and BT30-11!

All at different times presumably...

I know, quite wanton vandalism!

Welcome Simon you're input here will be invaluable, I am delighted that you have taken the plunge because I guess you have been lurking here for sometime!

You mention #8 hill climbing rang bells. I can't remember if you were at the HSCC F2 meeting when we elected to name the pre '70's series? but by amazing coincidence the guy who hill climbed #8 was there. He gave me a full list of owners which of course went with the car when I sold it, damn it. He did by the way wrap it round a tree which may have account for the fact the starter motor wouldn't fit!
So Jon Bradburn again! He had heaps of Brabham bits when I went there in '84.
