tacmacnzl should be qualifying in the top 10 on the grid
Good interview with Tony Quinn on NewstalkZB today, stated that they are looking to have one historic event, and one event with international co-drivers, which would suggest the Supertourers

Happy new year everyone! (albeit a bit late!)

I agree, sounds like the ST's will go to Highlands. Pretty cool if they do

Because of our small resident population circuits like Levels need the out of town punters and they will not take the risk and travel if the weather is supect.

That is a fact because our phones run red hot with weather enquiries when it is a bad forecast or raining in Chch or Dunedin.
Well I guess we are about to find out, given the 2 week delay in TV for the Summer Series..there will be no excuses if the crowd numbers are down as Bill points out it is TV's fault...

must be running a GT enduro with TRS as a support then.

we all know NZ Super Stock are NZ's best racing class, but to run on a sealed circuit that has left and right hand corners would require too much re-engineering., aye

Early bird tickets up now on ticketpro. Just bought mine and the missus's GA pass for the weekend with VIP parking which seems quite cheap.

All up for a weekend pass (GA x 2) plus VIP parking it came to $106

See below for details

Should be an Excellent First round and not that far away. Just happened to see a draft of the Weekend timetable, looks liked a pretty full programme of races. Cant wait

Got our tickets too - 5 GAs for Sunday and parking - $160. Thought that was pretty reasonable given that the SuperTourers do all their races Sunday. Should be awesome.

Ugy has a lot of promise if they can keep it on the circuit!
Tried to get my tickets but standing room only. Apparently there's a couple of plane loads flying in from Aussie to.

Does this pave the way, and let's hope so, for the V8 SuperTourers to run with the V8 Supercars at the ITM 400 Auckland?

But really who cares either way. I personally am really stoked with our new series as i am sure many others are as well. And i think the claim is 'similar' to a V8SC.

I too am intrigued as to when we MIGHT see the two classes at the same track at the same time. Surely can't be that far away now with the merger and what not??
