VE Commadore Update

Here is the new edited version of the HRT/Webber for WDC 'Hybrid car' that I made earlier (front section of the HRT car, rest WFWDC) with more bits made by me.

Yep i've got PNGS which are mostly vector, but I haven't blanked out around the outside of the car, i'll put them up if you're right to do that.

Actually the one of the side is pretty shoddy, the one of the front should be okay.

Give me a sec with that side skin Webber, I've got a better wheel template which looks a lot more realistic that I can put on them.

3D Cars help!

Hey all, I've been bugging Antrodemus all day about the 3D cars and I thought I should seek wider options (not saying that Antro's ideas were bad), because I need some help.

I downloaded the programs that Antro provided on Page 2 of the V8SFC forum, and when I open up the Commodore in Deep Exploration, there are funny crosses behind the tailights. Antro says these are there because the mesh is for a game, but does anyone know a way I can get rid of those crosses?

And the windscreen wipers have a big grey box around them, any ideas how to get rid of that?

Thanks for any help you guys can provide.

Josh

im not sure you can get rid of them, ive never used deep exploration 3d programmes so dont really know how youd go about deleting certain parts.

maybe you could just edit it in a paint programme after youve made it 3D?

My Dad is an ex-sign writer and he has fast cars 2, so I got the AU Falcon tray, cut up Greg Barton's ute and bolted a tray on!

Right, listen up

I've just pulled a whole bunch of playground insults for the second time. It will not be tolerated again. All of you, think before posting, keep your personal bunfights off the forum, and if it starts again, prepare yourself for a brief break from the computer.

In other words, grow up. Half the posts were referring to each others ages, but I got the distinct impression they'd all been doubled jusging by the behaviour.

Up to you guys not to respond in the first place. If someone steps out of line, report it, don't wade in. We'll consider it and then deal as we feel necessary. Everyone should consider themselves fortunate that I was tired after an all-nighter with the race and couldn't raise the effort to raise the bat. I won't be so forgiving in future, and you can bet your bottom dollar marcus and GTR won't be.

Put it all behind you, and stick to the subject, please.
