It's a bit strange they've gone for two relatively inexperienced drivers. Cook is proven, but I'm not sure he's ready to be a team leader

I'd guess it's budget related; I don't think MG give much support in terms of wonga.

Bit of a sigh of relief however; that could have been a far worse line-up. Hopefully the RML parts will bring MG into the mix a bit more, but I fear 888's best days are over as so many good staff members have moved on.

Agreed. With MG and Hard, there's 4 young drivers with proven speed. I like how the modern-day BTCC seems to have a balance of youth and experience and drivers from feeder series coming through.

I read recently (I think Neil Hudson on Twitter) that something like since 2010 only 4 drivers have won a WTCC race in their 20's. I wonder what the BTCC stats are like?

very impressed with the way that both PMR and Cook have handled the split but the last line of that has got me wondering who could be taking his place

Power Maxed Racing have agreed terms with an exciting signing for their final BTCC seat and will make an announcement shortly.
