Looks awesome, especially at the rear. It does have a heavy GT1 vibe to it

I think rear wing stay should be mounted on the subframe of the chassis.
Isn't the distance of the left/right stay too wide? |

From an aero perspective this is actually better than a center mount, as you get a larger undisturbed surface. And I think it's not much wider than on the latest Audis.

BMW M6 GT3 Evo package now available for BMW Motorsport customer teams It primarily ensures improved driveability and even greater reliability. To improve driveability as desired, the BMW M6 GT3 has primarily been optimized in four areas. The BMW Motorsport engineers modified the suspension, differential and brake system, and also made aerodynamic adjustments.
It announced the evo kit price which is two variant which is priced at 24,900 and 31,900 Euros (plus VAT) for the two variant. http://www.bmwblog.com/2017/11/10/bm...ustomer-teams/ |

The 2018 GT-R GT3 is a bit of half and half. Definitely comprehensive reset from the 2012 derived car to meet the FIA's 2016 GT3 spec. Based on appearances, while the chassis remains much the same - so much appears to be done to the internals. The Radiator configuration for instance, points to a radical redesign of the engine bay layout and I would say that has allowed the engine to be lowered and shifted in the engine bay to improve weight distribution - which was hurting the original cars performance relative to the existing 2016 spec builds. The old cars motor was perched up high and it had vertical radiators. Also of interest is the mandatory safety items, and tweaks to the aero - fewer dive planes, new bonnet to suit the new cooling configuration, revised wheel arch vents, the extended skirts of course. As the car has already had several EVO packages, it's had to pretty much be a "new" car for homologation. I doubt that existing teams would be able to convert their existing chassis to the latest spec given the amount of re-work done that cant be seen under the skin. I am looking forward to the new season as many of the old-build legacy cars will be phased out and we will almost have a universal tech specification equivalency. It was surprising that McLaren has not come to the party with a 720S... But given the upheavals going on in the supply chain... |

If I were McLaren, I would wait for the 720s based on how the 650s is doing. We'll see. Maybe they are waiting on a decision to do GTE as well?

Finally those in Woking realised that CRS wasn't enough. Mistakes are always forgivable, if one has the courage to admit them.

Looks incredible. In fact, I think it looks even better than the current 650! Aston Martin replied on twitter asking when they're going to race them in GTE!

A little body doth often harbour a great soul.
How many Ford GT3 were produced and where those cars are? |

With Ferrari and Maserati in sorts car racing, there's no room for Alfa Romeo in GT3.
A return to DTM would be perfect. |

Maserati is quite active (and successful) in GT4, but their GT3 car (the Swiss Team car) has not been raced the last couple of years. Did fairly well in the GT Sprint series back then though...
