Some more info from the team here - https://sportscar365.com/lemans/wec/...related-delay/
A few delays but sounds generally promising. |

Sounds like a mad rush to get ready for the season despite a 5 year homologation period. Edgy!

I have faith in them. Maybe wont see them in Sebring, or maybe theyll be allowed to race with the car but not fully homologated? I guess it depends on their level of preparedness and the fia's lenience.

Personally, I was hoping for Alldays & Onions, but Vanwall is fine.

Vanwall, a name that i thought would never be seen outside historic racing.

Isn't there an obscure Romanian brand he can use?

OT: there was a nice Vanwall collection at Donignton Museum. Does anyone know what happened to those cars when the museum closed? I don’t know if they where part of Wheatcroft’s collection or loaned.

Surprising and unfaitr I think. It will be interesting to see what they will do with Peugeot for this year as their car is not homologated too.

Unless the ACO have seen more info and don't think there's any chance it'll stay on timeline? That's all I can think.
Another car we may never see race. |

I think bykolles can't give same technical/financial guarantees of peugeot to ACO...
anyway, life goes on. |

Not pleased, but I'm not surprised.
Unfortunately, this was natural consequence of the ACO insisting on full-season entries. Perhaps Kolles has being too honest in declaring that they would have to miss the first race, but I think we've seen enough trackside fires to not be surprised if one race became two, became three... As for Peugeot, they are much more likely to be ready in time for the first race. If they aren't, I'm sure they will come to some sort of agr€€me€nt with the ACO. |

Well it seems the days of competing without big money from manufacturers may be gone for now. I don't see the point of full season entries. After all, most only really care about Le Mans. The other races are just practice for that.
Just hope Peugeot can make it, although it is a race against time for them right now. Be great to have them back |

i'm not even going to start with that comment but i'm glad the many drivers paying serious money to do something that's just practice for le mans don't share your attitude

In most years they'd get their entry with an asterisk, but when your grid is over-subscribed you've got to have a very solid proposition or cash/clout.

It's starting to look like Glickenhaus will be the first and the last privateer Hypercar entrant of this emerging era.
4 cars is not oversubscribed. The prototype challenge class is just grid filler. |
