I don't think the 4 will pit, but do think the 912 will.

I was completely wrong. Not sure why the 4 slowed down really.

Not the 911 I was hoping for, but congratulations to the #912 for a fantastic N24 victory.

That was good stuff! After watching off and on for the first 14 hours, I missed the start of the downpours and red flags but followed the last 2 hours. What a fun, unique race as always.

Great race as always! Shame I couldn't follow the middle half that much. Congrats to Manthey for the win!

The Nürburgring always serves a great race, so no surprises, those who get to see it live are so lucky. Manthay do it again

I quite like the idea of a 1 stop dash for the cash to culminate an endurance race, not pure I know but maybe someone like Creventic should experiment with that format

Just about recovered from my first N24. What a stunning place it is. I knew the circuit was special but wow. Just magic to be trackside on the Nordschleife. I got sunburnt, soaked and a red flag for fog so I think that is an authentic N24 experience. Will have some photos up in the next day or so. Thanks to Rodger Davies for showing me around! |

I guess once you go, you can't wait to go back. I don't think you'll ever hear a bad word said against the circuit. It's certainly a big difference from other motorsport events. Just remember to bring all weather gear, as it can be very fickle! I would love to go one day, who knows?

The drivers at the end were earning their paycheck for sure! Tired drivers, wet track, poor visibility, what more could you ask for!

I didn't watch the whole race or even most of it. I did see a lot of code 60's and slow zones when I tuned in though. I think that was a shame because it really hurts and helps some competitors. That's all part of the race I guess with having so many classes and different speed levels. I'd really like to see some more variety at the top of the field though. Seemed like it was a German manufacturer washout. The only different cars were the lone Aston Martin and the Glickenhaus. Maybe next year!

I didn't catch the beginning or much of the event until about midway, but wow. What a race! It certainly didn't disappoint. What those drivers were doing in the periods of heavy rain and fog is the absolute definition of bonkers. Following along with the in-car cameras as they made their way through the mountains was a real highlight. Absolutely fantastic.

Obviously Nurburgring didn’t disappoint. It’s rare you find people complimenting on every accept of a race weekend. Greatest race circuit ever

First time at the N24 - having had a couple of practice runs at the VLN which is the same, but totally different !
Walked the track Saturday - well got to Adenau and decided it was nearly as short to keep going (the completist in me !). it's a long way and very hilly :-) Well worth it too. Watched the start just after Bergwerk where they are all coming through flat out - brilliant. Back Sunday morning to Brunnchen and walked down as far as Schwalbenschwantz before the red flag flew. Then back to the start for the finish - eventually finding an open car park as far way as possible from the track (A1). Superb view of part two from the Mecrcedes Tribune with a real appreciation of the changing / lack of visibiity. Link to some photos will follow soon. Congrats to Manthey ! |

Looks like I have to save up to go. Just hearing all this makes me realise what I am missing. One day

Here are some shots I took from the race if anyone is interested. A cool place for photography. You'd need a few years to get to everywhere.
