I don't think it was hit by a LMP2. I think it blew on his own. The hit would've been big enough to see a P2 with damage.

He got hit by a P2 and was stuck in high gear after that. Not his fault.

Breaking is part of racing ... this isn't track and field. In Automobile racing, the car matters.

Plus it is a team sport and the whole team matters.

The designer matters. Look how much more quickly Porsche changed its front power unit compared to Toyota ... and which manufacturer has a dozen or more Le Mans wins than the other ......

If you want to see mana a mano competition, might Ii suggest college or Olympic wrestling? Running? Swimming? Pretty much every other sport involves some level of technology and teamwork.

Racing has Always been about the car. Always. That’s why everybody knows “Porsche” and “Ferrari,” but not many people have heard of Tom Kristensen.

If you have watched Le Mans a lot .... did you watch it Last Year?

Did the prior 23 hours, 58 minutes become Not a Race two minutes from the end?

I don’t like seeing cars break. I hate seeing wrecks. But this is racing. It is what I signed up for and what I knew I would get.

I’d like to cheer you up if possible.

I mean, look ... I am a Toyota fan.

I like and respect Porsche but I want Toyota to win if it can.

I am going to enjoy every remaining minute of this race.

Is the Manor on the right side of the Dunlope chicane or on the left? I think it could have slid through the gravel and than collected a car at the chicane.

He was going slower earlier. He was stuck in gear because the hydraulic lines got ripped apart from driving too fast.

From the replay it looks like a puncture, Lapierre was well past any cars he was lapping.

He's got the car moving again!

#2 might get back on the podium, but it's doubtful for the #8 that's almost 30 laps down, and even the #8 is nearly 20 back.

Slow zones and pace car runs won't help, either.

As long as they don't do anything wrong, I don't know how the #1 can blow it.

Yeah so the manor hit the Toyota, not the Dallara. It was certainly in a lower gear earlier because he got it out the gravel and was significantly slower at Tertre Rouge. Got impatient and did more damage himself.

Well, my apologies to Mr. Lapierre ... he couldn't go slowly, apparently.

And now, he might make it back!!!!!
