I can't see how people could be anti-Kolles, at least he hasn't ruined the Vanwall legacy

Well we had plenty of good reasons to think we will never see them out, but they've finally done it. Now let's see them on the grid

What can we say? The car looks good, sounds good. I really hope we see it race, doubt we will.

In theory yes but right side (as much as we see of it) looks looks like new Kolles indeed Doesn't mean I expect the car to make it to the grid

The car has been through FIA crash testing and is currently exploring the cars performance on track. The holding company has changed names and they are still working through copyright issues. I'm actually getting more hopeful we will see them on track next season. sent during haircut |

Call me an idiot, its ok, ill do it myself but if Kolles cant use Vanwall why dont they go to a smaller volume manufacturer like Spyker or Radical or something and offer them the naming rights for some £££? Can this not be done now?

If you replace 'some' with 'a lot' than the answer is probably yes but you have to wonder A) whether Kolles is willing to throw substantial additional money at it, and B) if the ACO would let a potential entrant alter the designated manufacturer once the homologation process has started in earnest. |

I do not see why Kolles should buy the naming rights from a small manufacture.
They could simply make an agreement to "hired" by the small manufacture to deliver and run the car from them. Would potentially be a good advertisement chance for that manufacture (unless the car is a dog of course) |

It is best not to try to understand the motivations of Colin Kolles. That way madness lies.

I wonder if he has the bravery to knock at Caterhams door again?

Can’t they just let the thing race without having to buy the naming rights to Raleigh bicycles or whatever? It’s a car built to the rules and it works. Just let it race!!

I would be curious to know if the OEMs have an opinion on this. It's more valuable to Peugeot to beat Ferrari or Porsche than it is to beat ByKolles, who nobody has heard of.
