http://www.endurance-info.com/articl...d=3382&thold=0 says the lavaggi will have a new engine at Monza. so what will it be?

i reckon the best he could stuff into that car might be a Judd GV5.5S2 . Its available , and it works .

I think they meant a new Ford engine. I doubt he will show up at Monza with a broken engine

I hope they were able to catch the car on track without other ones around...otherwise you would not be able to hear it...(only the Corvette GT2 made more or less the same amount of noise)

I gives a good impression, but don't get fooled by the sound, most of the time you hear the other cars. I asked Pedro Lamy how it was inside and it was much quieter too, which will probably help a lot when you have to drive for 24 hours.
The video also does not show any engine shots. The box was guarded heavily, and they had blue cloth around all the time to take sensitive parts out of sight. It was the only box where access for all media was prohibited...

Erki has a lot of promise if they can keep it on the circuit!
There was another video of 908 testing at HTTT around a while ago where it was alone on the track. I thought it sounded pretty nicely.
