The car uses a Fiat block with a cylinder head off a Lancia Delta integrale, like what they used to run in the world rally championship some years back. Its a common conversion with Fiat tuners. |

If I can repeat the question for the group of Victorian Sports Sedans that emerged for the 50k Plate:
The Holden Commodores of: Ian Rice (VN?), Chas Talbot (VS - the old open wheeler racer?) and Michael Graham (VS - Holden 4.2 V8? Commodore Cup car?) The Mazda RX-7s if: Laurie Williams, Lee Uhlhorn and Luke Chambers. The Holden Toranas of: Garry Roberts and Wayne Purdon (is this the same Torana driven by Robin O'Hare a month ago?) The Terry Wyhoon Camaro? Is he really moving into sports Sedans? The Graham Bell Mustang? The Ken House Ford Escort? and the Nicholas Cambridge Toyota? |

FYI, it is my intention to enter some of the Australian Sports Sedan rounds next year, with my ex USA, Pratt and Miller built, TransAm Dodge Viper, as driven by Tommy Archer. The car will sport a 6 litre Dodge engine, instead of its current 5 litre, and be driven by Kayne Scott. Can any one advise me next years Championship schedule. Cheers, Mark Petch. |

Phil Crompton is back in charge of the S'Sedans next year and though I dont think the calender has been officially announced he has a pretty good idea of when they are running. Jump on http://www.sportssedans.com.au/forum/forum.html and he will answer any questions as he is a regular poster (PhastPhil). Looking forward to seeing the Viper in the flesh in 2010. JD |

Newbie here with a first time post.
I'm interested in building a sportsedan and would love to see under the covers of the topo cars such as the Audi, Saab, Corvette, Alfa to see how those cars are setup with chassis, suspension, brakes, gearbox/transaxles, engines etc. Is there a website that has photos of the "mechanicals" of these cars? |

In Pit Lane will have a close up look at Dean Randle's new SAAB in an episode coming up in early January as well as a close tech look at the development of the Audi R14 DTM car and it's wind tunnel testing. We'd love to do more hardcore tech stuff but on TV it's very time consuming and costs an absolute fortune. |
