Maybe Kelvin Burt will join Martin Bell? He's currently his race coach.

Plato is listed as confirmed, have SEAT Sport UK confirmed their entry yet?
Also, shouldn't Team Halford's second car be listed as confirmed, just the driver TBC? |

Motorbase have confirmed that they will be running in the BTCC. But have not confirmed their cars or drivers yet! Collard has confirmed that he wants to return.. But at the moment GR Asia have not confirmed their racing programme for 2008! Confirmed means Team, car and driver! |

Hate to be picky, but if Team Halfords second car isn't confirmed because no driver is announced, then shouldn't the same apply to Jason Plato (driver confirmed, but not team/car)

Doubt it, it'd all be part of the experience. More than likely it is a taste of what teams do during free practice on Saturdays.

I would like to see a return of the long distance Donnington Masters race they used to run years and years ago, though I can't recall what the name was, was it a 4 hour race?

BTCC.net reported that both Plato and Turner offered instruction. I can't see Turner wanting to train someone who'd take his seat so I think he'll probably be staying with SEAT or moving to a different formula.

Ginetta Jr series will take the place of the FBMWs on the support bill at all rounds next season. At least it's not another slicks'n'wings series, but the driving standards might be only so-so up seeing as the championship is for 14-17 year olds...

The current three race format is quite good As for the Ginettas ... let's hope the driving standards don't cause that many red flags. The two single seater classes was around the right number, although something like the Swedish J-STCC would be nice :P Re. Darren Turner - perhaps he's going to WTCC?! |

I don't think so. I think Coronel will stay with in WTCC with the help of McGregor and SEAT Holland.

Darren is a world class Sportscar driver with a very good reputation and ties with Prodrive. Doubt he will be back in a touring car.
My prediction is Motorbase will run the two petrol powered cars from this year while Plato and TBA will race diesels in the BTCC 2008. |

Either that or maybe A-Tech might try to get their mitts on the petrols ...
Probably Jonny Adam in the second TDI, maybe Tom Coronel in a third but I don't think we will see Thommo in a SEAT - a Volvo? You never know, a pair of C30's could be pretty useful gear to have, and whoever's making them in Sweden is making more to sell on ... |

Maybe Jordi Gene?
It's a bit crowded in the WTCC, maybe he'd relocate for a shot at the title. |
