I have heard that Ray has bought Jon Hills old mod prod manta and is going to run it in the DMN series. Personally i think the car would be more at home in CTCRC pre 93

Thats interesting guys, I drove that old Manta around Goodwood once, it was a nice well balanced car. I agree it could be out of its depth in DMN. Ray did a guest appearance in Andy's car last year I believe, you can't keep a good racer down!

I still see ray quite a lot and he hasn't lost his touch with doing body work. Graig came to the race at Brands in November to see Ray race, but he blew the gearbox. I have to admit that i talked Ray into buying the Manta, but the problem is I now have 3 cars to get ready for the start of the season. Mine, Dave Whites and the Manta

Yes I remember two yellows Minis with PINK wheels ! I'd forgotten about them. I think I may still have a copy of that Fast Car somewhere. Good to see some of the drivers are still about. Any room for a supercharged A series Mini ?

Hi Rod, actually you described it in your reports from Combe and Silverstone as a "giant killing tintop". No 47.
