I can't recall any car being failed outside of the podium positions. If Excelr8 got it wrong how come they only got it wrong on those two cars?

No idea I’ll be honest. But tell me the last time the guy who finished 10th got chucked out for ride height?

I suspect Ingram knew he was in trouble before he got back to the pits. It's normal for drivers to deliberately run wide on the slow down lap to help pick up some of the rubber marbles and add a few mm to the ride height. Ingram seemed to be taking that to the extreme; he wasn't just running wide but almost driving off the track.

On quite a few occasions Addison and/or Harvey have mentioned that cars will be starting from the back of the grid because of technical infringements without mentioning what the infringement/s were, and on many occasions those cars were not in the top 10. It's possible/probable that those times don't register in our memories because they weren't in the leading bunch. |

Bobby Thompson, Knockhill 2020 (16th) Senna Proctor, Oulton Park 2019 (22nd) Let's not also overlook the fact that if a team identified that they have made an error and sent a car out that will fail ride-height - a car running in 20th is likely to be retired, whereas a team running in the top 3 will probably risk it for the TV exposure anyway. |

According to the BARC's latest judicial reports a few moments ago (dated/timed @ 13:15), only Ingram's car has been disqualified.

Sutton and Taylor-Smith have been penalised 1 second due to both gaining an unfair advantage

A great example from Sutton and Hill of how you can race hard and fair, without resorting to bumping into each other.
The last ten or so laps were really intense and showcased the best of BTCC. |

Nice to see Pearson keeping it up the sharp end, and Lloyd too.
Interesting that Cook on the mediums beat Ingram on the softs, so could be well placed for race 3. |

Exactly, classic BTCC at its best. Enjoyed that battle a lot and held my breath most of the time actually. Perfect battle, wish Sutton passed Hill but anyway, amazing drive for both of them.

Btw, speaking of the allegedly illegal Focus, quite interesting that this weekend all NAPA cars, except Ash of course, seem pretty invisible. A stark contrast to Croft.

Don't you read the clamour for them to be impeded? They need to mask the performance of the car, or they'll have a restriction imposed.

Its as simple as that. BMWs were the best in 2019 and have been penalised. Ford are the best but were Not penalised. It's unfair which would make suttons title this year worthless

Take a look here - https://tentenths.com/forum/showpost...postcount=2657 - and it could be seen that the BMW is the strongest chassis still..... |
