Cause of all the dramas with HRT etc, sounds like an impossibility but we'll wait and see. Will be the biggest surprise of the year if it is true but as I said it's on pretty good authority.

Is the Skaife/Walkinshaw relationship really that sour?? Or is Skaife trying to prove that he really gives a Jack??

If Steve Owen goes HRT, then that thwarts the SBR situation, but it may JUST happen as it is about time that Holden stopped losing their stars to Ford.

And Steve Owen, well that guy is a real star in the making!

It won't happen, you'll find its sorted out pretty soon. Skaife seems pretty confident it will be fine. Then the only way to stop all this inuendo is for TEGA to present what HRT and TOLL present to them so there won't be any doubt as to who own and controls what.

Im not sure how high Holden regards him vs a McConville... I think hes a great talent, and with SBR he'll be in good hands.

The only way I can see him going to HRT is if Skaife retires. There is no way he would go to JDR!

Where did you hear that? I just heard Lowdes is going to BJR and and Richards lost his drive at FPR. What a load of you know what. How about keeping ONE forum informative at least?

Gosh I think people are bored, making up rubbish like this. Doubt that:

1) Skaife would ever go to LP
2) Mr Owen to HRT
3) Lowndes to BJR- Wtf is up with that?
4) Like Richo would ever lose his drive at FPR....
and finally 5) April Fools Day is a bit far away yet for jokes like this...

TSR has a lot of promise if they can keep it on the circuit!
If this is true about Skaifey & LP I think it would be a big joke, really if it happens it just goes to show who has owned HRT for the last couple of years, and it is not M.SKAIFE.

Plus Skaifey might be the person to get the JDR back up the front, but who will miss out on there seat little JACK or SHANE, time will tell.

I like the way you sed that TSR.

Lol only thing I can think of if it came to that is that Skaifey and Tommy made a deal that Tommy owns the team but Ol' Skaifey as his name as owner.... or you know like a guarantor sorta thing...

Only thing i can think of.

Skaife leaving HRT would only cloud the issue wouldnt it ?

It would be seen as an admission that he never owned HRT and put all their heads on the chopping block. Championship Title included !

Either that or he would own HRT & drive for another ? Then they would be grouped for testing ala Brighty.

Despite mutual respect for each other, I don't think that Skaife and Perkins get on particularly well. This stems back to the Group A days, with the GTR, and Perkins' loud public pronouncements against it. Highly unlikely, in my opinion.

It's questionable whether Skaife had any more business involvment in HRT than having his name on the franchises anyway. Who knows whether this rumour will come to fruition but it would certainly be left of field and a monumental mess to sort out having less than 1 week to Clipsall

We agree again, Deeks!

Soon the sky will fall! :P

Every year, start of season, some new moron signs up and stirs us all. Let's all get a little smarter and not reply. Starve the oxygen from a fire, and it dies. Starve the attention form these morons, and they leave.

It would be funny. Then JDR, HRT and TOOL would all have to be grouped since Skaife "owns" HRT and driving for JDR with the existing 4 car HRT/TOOL team .
My head hurts.......

So here is the Skaife / HRT rumour thread for the day.

I remember when ten-tenths had a reputation for good solid factual information for race fans.

There has been so much dribble posted on these forums over the last few weeks it's a complete joke.

The moderators need to knock the minority off these forums that post this garbage, before the rest of us that have a real interest in what's going on go elsewhere for our information on Australian Motor Racing.
