A little bit like Lando yesterday - Max has combined great skill with being in the right place on track at the right time. Luck has played a role, but without any luck at all I still think he'd be there or thereabouts.

I am a big Lando fan, but so far today, I would agree. If nothing changes, I can imagine today is realistically the end of Lando's championship push.

What a superlative drive by Verstappen. Supreme skill, a dash or two of luck, and showing why his occasional shenanigans just aren't necessary.

And wow, Alpine with Ocon and Gasly on the podium. Amazing. TOTR for me.

F1 is much more engaging when DRS overtaking isnt involved. I actually watched the entire race today.
