Yeah, maybe they need more fuel? We heard that the Porsches were running to a pace earlier.

#7 is the big loser in all this. Maybe Andre should have stuck it out on those tyres...

He's been good recently (excellent at Le Mans, very good at the 'Ring), but that was a silly error.

Whilst the stadium section is a terrible layout for a single class, it's provided some brilliant moments for multi class. Similarly the esses are proving to be brilliant for this series.

The only things I would change are taking the extra kink out of the stadium, put a bit of grass in the esses and bring back the Aztec style concrete blocks. Apart from that, this track is the best non European track that WEC visits by a country mile.
Since they've taken away the 'like' button, will just say 'good post'

As usual, the yellow lap times were all over the place 3:20s all the way down to 3 min flat. They need to get this sorted.

Unlucky on that second attempt, but clever driving from Nakajima to save the boost.

How hard can it be to calculate how fast a 80kph lap is and then apply a +30 sec penalty to all who differ?

Or close the pitlane, but there aren´t silver bullets here, any method has pros and cons.

I think in F1 they use a preset lap time. Seems to work quite well.
