Seeing lows in the low to mid 50's being reported on pretty much all of the weather forecasting channels throughout the week. Highs in the mid 70's. Very low rain chances as well. Looking good to me!

We're almost into the 7 day weather forecast window so things should be getting very close to believable.

Thankfully it wasn't this weekend, damn it's hot in the sun today. But got my extra canopy repaired, found a dude in Indiana who sells sacks of bolts and bits for pop-ups cheap.

Sometimes discussions between colleague drivers are about spectators and marshals at least those having particularities rather easy to spot even from the cockpit when racing. And guess what, we can sometimes smell the pleasant smell of the bbq. Sausages, T-bones replace for a while tires and brake pads. As spectators and marshals please apply yourselves!

8:00 A.M. departure tomorrow for the track should get us there by 10 because we'll be traversing the 75->285->85 traffic in Atlanta.

I'm not leaving till Wednesday morn, with the main goal of packing the car tomorrow. Everything fit last year and while i don't have more stuff, it is always a challenge!

Well more good news. Local schools are closed Wednesday and Thursday due to the red stapler. So now it looks like we're leaving the jacksonville area late Wednesday night

Especially at Road Atlanta where something is bound to be broken, bent but salvageable.

Loaded up everything but the coolers, they're in to make sure they fit but newish truck and new topper so bit more space. Gonna do an odd one for my usual and pick up most of the food and beverage on the way out and ice.

Everything is packed in the motorhome, the van and the golf cart except the coolers for peanuts and crab legs. Plan to arrive at around 7:30am.

Good news. That means you'll have a full Thursday, Friday and Saturday. Much better than you expected.

The answer is it is gone. No idea if failed or just removed but nothing other than the persimmon left. And the post seems unharmed.


Also, the wind she's ablowing this afternoon. And already a decent number of folks in the family camping area. And the line was 3 wide at noon to get in tomorrow. Not the craziest I've seen but it's filling quick
