Hypothetical. Say TD are found guilty. Given a fine and lose points for the year. They then rock up to Bathurst with a car that is perfect for the circuit due to the alleged illegal testing with extra sensors etc etc. Dominate the race and win. They were not a chance at the championship but have landed the biggest race of the year. Hollow victory in most fans eyes, but most of the country would not realise why, and TD would have a Bathurst victory recorded. could other teams protest result due to the setup information gained illegaly? Whole thing could get messy.

Team Dynamic have been caught, not IMS, its their car their crew their driver, and if they get off on some techniality involving IMS won't Cams/Avesco/Tega look like a bunch of fools.

The rule itself is a little ambiguous (surprise surprise) and the penalty talks of a monetary fine (but doesnt explain if it is per offence), exclusion (but doesnt mention if that is for past or future participation or both) and loss of championship points (but again doesnt mention if that is for past or future participation or both)

So whatever happens, there is no statute to go playing with to determine an outcome. Similarly there is no precedent either.

Heading into such uncharted territory, Kelvin's lackeys at CAMS would want to be 1000% sure they have their junk together... or this could be tied up in appeals inside the CAMS/FIA system, or indeed progress to a civil court in the blink of an eye....

by the way ,person /s cannot enter WOOMERA test facilies without the permission of the traditional landowners , commonwealth australian government & the uk goverment. remember the traditional landowners control all movements at WOOMERA....
