Derani needs to drive as much as possible for ESM to have a chance.

Both Penske Acuras apparently done for the day. Shades of '06 with the Porsche double DNF late and problems in '07. It seems that so far only '08 shined on Penske, and even then one car failed to finish.

Contact between the #6 and #90 it seems. #6 has been parked with possible diff or half-shaft problems.

#55 didn't go into pits, won some positions, but I don't know how it ends.

Could Mazda luck into this if the leading one doesn't self-immolate or could the sole surviving ESM Nissan get it? Sorry, not able to watch right now, any Cadillacs surviving unscathed?

It looks like the #55 have problems to leave the pits every time. |

I think I shall take this moment to remind everyone that Mazda lasted 18 hours at Daytona - and they were having intermittent trouble the entirety of that time. So in one respect at least they've already shown improvement this race.

And Suddenly, Ligier #32 is in a podium position. I want to see Dumas on the leader lap with the Oreca. The race is great, I only miss the P2 cars fighting.

I don't know how the #55 out of phase strategy will ends, but it could pay off at the end. The car have the speed.
Conway and Lapierre, flying right now. |

Pretty good race so far in both pro classes. The number of cautions has not been great, but the good ol attrition has kept it interesting. And in gtd there have been a ton of cars with a shot at this thing.

55 Tincknell and 10 Van Der Zande both lapped under 1:49.5 30-odd laps ago. Bomarito and Hunter-Reay aren't in that class.
