I've seen a new Green Brave Supra livery and can officially call it Mikey.

Autosport web is reporting Kazumichi Goh (Team Goh) interview.
Goh says that participation in GT300 was an activity to participate in the Le Mans by McLaren hypercar! And participation in the IndyCar Series as Team Goh was to financially support Alex Palou. (In general, Indy Lights champions need $ 1 million in funding to ride an IndyCar.) https://www.as-web.jp/supergt/677221?all Last edited by Japanese Samurai; 15 Mar 2021 at 12:15. |

When Palou raced in #55 DCR w/ Team Goh at IndyCar, I saw the car lacked sponsorships but still with trademark red/black livery. Was "Team Goh" actually more like a big sponsorship from Mr. Goh himself rather than legit racing team? |

Goh doesn't say the exact amount, but he should have paid about $ 1 million.

Kazumichi Goh explains why Team Goh join in Super Formula in 2021.
That is to find a young driver who can be appointed when Team Goh returns to sports car racing in the near future. If Team Goh participates in LMDh, the driver must be selected. However, he is not involved in Hiroki Ohtsu's driver selection. He is looking for a talented driver from the driver market around the world that he can hire in five years ahead. https://www.as-web.jp/super-formula/677390?all |

That's a good idea in my book. Although Super Formula can still be a good training ground for F1 drivers, most of the drivers there make a living in Japan, so why not exploit that? And not just for Super GT, but for things like Le Mans too. I think this is a great move by Goh. Got to keep investing in the future

Currently there's no plans to bring back the 1000km Suzuka.

That’s fair enough. Just need enough events to keep the public interested

In Fuji SGT test, "Indy style (DTM style)" start method was tested.
This is based on Masaaki Bandoh's request to show fans cooler start. This start method may be adopted in wider trucks such as Fuji this season. However, from a safety point of view, it will not be adopted in the restart. https://www.as-web.jp/supergt/681044?all |

Yep. He says it is the first order in the world.
The debut race of M4 GT3 has already been decided, but it cannot be made clear. |

I'm looking forward to see BMW on the front row again at GT300, and also for the championship title. But I think it's only possible with all-pro drivers.

As there's no Super Formula thread, it all begins this weekend!
And next weekend there will be Super GT! |

For first Super GT race this season, Tadasuke Makino (who is still recovering after operations for meningitis) is substituted by Hideki Mutoh, while Sacha Fenestraz (visa issue) is subsituted by Sena Sakaguchi. Sena's place at #96 K-Tunes Racing is filled by Hibiki Taira.

Also over at GT300, Giuliano Alesi will make his debut at Okayama substituting for Nattapong Hortongkum (#35 arto RC-F GT3), Ryuichiro Tomita will fill in for Taiyou Iida (#48 Dijon Racing) and Yuudai Uchida takes Atsushi Tanaka's place in the #360 Runup GT-R.
Anyway, does anyone know if THE RACE will continue covering Super Formula and Super GT? All I know is that Red Bull TV and Motorsport.tv will cover Super Formula next week. |
