My Take,
Ok race, nothing too exciting to be honest. Was hoping for a safety car with 10 laps to go. Now: Reynolds & Tander penalty a farce !!!! Shattered for Moff and Waters. A massive hit Terrible watching a 20 year old Mature Feeny in tears = RAW. He will get there. What a weekend for him. Finally, the happiest we have seen SVG all year. Looked emotional going over the line. The Stanaway story is amazing. Drove flawlessly all weekend. Loved his raw emotion digging deep from a dark few years away from the sport. Wish he was in the 97 next year and nice comments from Shane suggesting he should be in the car.............Not sure why that didnt eventuate, maybe the planets didnt align to the right place right time. Great Vision with he and his dad. Massive crowds and great weather. I do wonder how BJR front up time and time again each year with more sob stories. He must have good sponsors I must say ! |

I don't think so. They have been swapped left to right side in the past.
The category is sorely lacking for not having Nissan, Toyota etc turbos out there. I'm not sure how long organisers can rely on Chevrolet supporters waving Holden flags (!?) that don't match their preferred brand (really strange, Holden flags seemed to outnumber Chevrolet ones by at least 20:1), without bringing in Nissan, Toyota supporters etc. |

Ford signed Lowndes on a big contract back in 2001 and he did very well out of it but when ford cut T8 from funding they went to holden and he had harsh words to say even though his contract with ford would have set him up for life, imo he displayed ingratitude and it would have been better to say nothing, imo he put himself in a poor light.

It’s great to see drivers giving a stuff.. Mr Whincup was way calmer/disconnected… Raw emotion in the car and out of it.. Suspect Mr Feeney will channel it for the GC.. |

The reason why I asked is that Brodie was complaining about steering issues and suggested that it might be the tires, I noticed that on their previous pit stop the arrows that they put on the tires with a marker were pointing in the wrong direction on the drivers side .

Interesting fuel strategy @ Team18…
Both cars not filled enough by 1 lap apparently, Frosty DNF’d, Pye Pnowhere… Madness… |

I was told about this today. Frosty pitted on the last lap, Shane came across the finish line, so pitlane closed. Couldn't get out, end of story

Do you think things could have been a bit frosty after that? I can only think they tried to get to the end without the stop, but may have had a cough on the previous lap, so had to come in. I hope that was it? You can't have your Pye and eat it too

”Slow All Week”
Car preparation, tuning a challenge Running the second pilot in the thing to reacquainting with the car in just about every session can’t be helpful Primary pilot plays in qually with a hand tied behind his back Come race day second pilot couldn’t get out of the 10’s Primary pilot gets in, into the 9’s almost immediately.. Car has stuff breaking.. Starter motor falls out.. A shame the primary pilot has no ride next year.. |

Was interesting seeing the #4 car vault up the order on occasion over the weekend.
With Mr Evans behind the wheel, no less. |
