It's got to be one of the best rookie classes ever at Le Mans. A lot of GT3-focused guys finally getting opportunities, either by getting elevated into a hypercar by a manufacturer, or via LMGT3. Plus some great open wheel talent getting a shot too.
Palou, Marciello, Wittmann, Caldarelli, Van der Linde x2, Schumacher, Mortara, Shwartzman, Drugovich, Siegel, Simpson, Miyata, Vesti, Mies, Perera, Juncadella. Oh and some guy named Rossi! |

I've only been attending since 2019 so haven't really witnessed a fully competitive "top" class but this year has all the makings of an epic battle between Ferrari, Toyota, BMW and Porsche. Cadillac and Peugeot may hopefully get their act together. And, the GTs look pretty good too, especially the Mustangs.

Last year was a competitive top class, a number of the manufacturers had a turn at leading, this year looks to be even better. Sooo looking forward to the race this year.....

2023-2025 looking like a golden era ... let's enjoy every minute while we can.
Inevitably the bean counters or senior management will want to know why they aren't winning having spent their money. |

Not everyone can win, but as you said bean coun ters will see it as a failure if they do not.
Perhaps the ACO will want to follow Monaco and insist that all cars in the top class follow each other around for 24 hours and finish in the same order they started. Luckily in WEC no one will ever let that happen |

Wonder how she ended up breaking several ribs. No incidents that I'm aware of.

Gutted for Pin. Seems like you don't even have to be driving an Iron Dames car this season to be struck by its curse. Did they run over a black cat whilst driving under a ladder last season or something?

Much the same with all the cars though. As it's going to be wall-to-wall sunshine for the 24 Hours this year, they may not get so grubby.....

Brake dust is the main grim and higher speeds mean more braking so more brake dust.
