Its simple, like clipsal, its a 68 lap race split into 2 parts. Finishing first in the first part, gives you pole for the 2nd, but points are awarded for both.

Winterbottom finishing in front after the first part gave him first place start for the 2nd part.

I see the logic but would rather see something like if both on equal points then winner goes to the number of laps lead, or in the case of the rest of the field if on equal then the spot is awarded to person who lead the most laps over the other on same points.

Was there anyone else affected on same points???

I don't like the way the setup is either (or the clipsal setup) i just explained to the other guy who didn't understand it, the way it works.

Personally i would rather a short race on Saturday, and a long race on Sunday.

Given that VESA had like 4.5 milliseconds to re-plan their weekend activities, and that there were only 6 surfboards around for prizes, not 12, this is what we have

Next year *will* be different, presuming the Queensland Government will choose to operate this event again.

Pro Racer should be qualifying in the top 10 on the grid
Tasman cars finaly showing pace at a track other then Bathurst. one wonders the way they are going over the last 3 or 4 rounds and PCR are going with FC just about 50 points up the ladder if the right choice is to merge with PCR.
