Yup, but anyways now, Audi's today time is faster even than Sarazin's ideal time of yesterday, so to this point, the R15 Plus seems to have been the fastest car of the weekend. Looking forward to see the sector times for this session, but I think this 1:42.0 lap really was the fastest so far.
@Victor - Well, who knows... to me, they look rather insecure after those races, not necessarily angry. But honestly, I hope they'll try to win these races for the next 10-15 years, because it's much greater to have the big manufacturers involved and really trying to beat one another. |

Somewhat weird sector data from lemansseries.com; today both the first and the second sector are much slower by both cars (and the others, of course), and the last sector is much quicker, so that full-track times are very similar to those of yesterday. So they moved the sector limits around when timing, or could they have used another track configuration today than yesterday (that would be an improbable thing to do)?
Anyway, yesterday we had: Oreca Peugeot 908 HDI best sectors: 1- 0:28.568 2- 0:26.269 3- 0:47.329; Ideal Lap- 1:42.166 Audi R15 TDI Plus best sectors: 1- 0:28.875 2- 0:26.363 3- 0:47.458; Ideal Lap- 1:42.696 and today we have: Audi R15 TDI Plus best sectors: 1- 0:30.072 2- 0:30.524 3- 0:41.423; Ideal lap - 1:42.019 Oreca Peugeot 908 HDI best sectors: 1- 0:30.135 2- 0:30.648 3- 0:41.699; Ideal lap - 1:42.482 Now, the last sector's fastest time isn't set by Audi (spot 2) or Peugeot (only spot 4!), but by the Oreca AIM. That might tell us that both Audi and Peugeot slowed down their pace coming to the last part of their fastest laps, so that the times won't come out as spectacularly fast as they would be if they ran at their full real speed. And yes, the Audi R15 has really done the fastest lap of the weekend so far. P.S. Peugeot's ideal lap of today is slower than the ideal one of Sarrazin yesterday. just noticed on the live timing screen at the top right is a button for "live video" - it is greyed out at the moment, but might it come good tomorrow?

RIS timing is working, it shows the Spyker as the first car to start a lap (Hindy said it was the first car to leave the pits).
EDIT: HAHAHAHAHAH, it's no longer working! EDIT 2: Scratch that, it just had another of its very French moments. |

No real fireworks there, but really good to see the JMW Aston genuinely looking competitive, hopefully we'll see more than one in the series by the start of next season.

Interesting, Hugues de Chaunac saying that he was the one who requested to Peugeot that they lend him a factory driver for this race...
