Maybe there will be Geely instead of Volvo, but you never know what will happened.

Am I the only one beeing a bit tired of the BoP whining? Of course the BoP is not 100% fair, and it never will (and the TCR formula is built around BoP), but there's just too much focus on "that car is faster than mine and it's not fair". In my opinion there should be a rule that you can't says too much or blame the BoP in a way some drivers do (Borkovic etc.) as it may hurt the credibility of TCR and all championships running those regulation. Or maybe there are such rules already? Of course their lips can't or shouldn't be sealed all together, but you should not be able to blame the organisation even in the heat of the moment.
The BoP discussions should be among the participating teams directly to WSC (and FIA in the case of WTCR). I get the feeling many teams and drivers are blaming the BoP when they fail to score as BoP is an easy target, and there's always drama as soon a car, team and driver combination does a good result at a specific track. If you participate in a TCR championship you accept the way the BoP is carried out and you should have faith in those constantly working with it. If you keep talking to media about how you don't have faith in it, you're hurting the regulations and the TCR concept (and all championships running according to it) is slowly losing its credibility. You can always discuss how fair the BoP is at the moment, but thinking about all TCR championships around the world gathering data on all cars I'd say they are doing a decent job on a pretty damn impossibly task of making all cars equal on every type of track . |

The BoP is only fair for the one who wins. Nobody's going to win all the time. On the highway of life you can't always be in the fast lane.

Ah yes, I see it. Thanks.
Seems a shame to exclude RWD. |
