I think it is stranger that qual is on Thursday and they have one hour of practice Friday and that's it before warmup.

I would agree with that as teams could have made changes after the test and it would be nice to do some.

Hey Andy. I think the guide looks incredible as always so I do not mean to be critical at all but here are a few suggested updates:

#9 Dion von Molke is usually listed as a South African
#9 Kenny Habul is Australian
#51 Peter Ashley Mann is usually listed as an American
#63 the number deal on the side of the car should be 63, not 063
#007 Lars Viljoen is British

IIRC, this was the case last year too, with nothing on Weds but wasn't there also no track time Friday either?

Had a couple of queries about Scottish flags. Drivers have requested these rather than Union Flag.....

But don't worry they still haven't decided on GTD fuel restrictors (and possibly other things too if cars are too fast...), so another bop change is incoming after practice/quali. Or couple.

Looks wet today. Do we still have to deal with dumbass rules of not q-ing in the wet? If not, who does the damp track favor? Besides Porsche

Well, when you consider that everyone testing at The Roar was sandbagging. It's hard to get a baseline for BoP.

Ultimately this should make for a much better, and more competitive 2016 season rather than the see-saw domination of last year.

I just wanted to put a plug in for the 2016 IMSA Fantasy Racing Challenge we run here. The rules are simple and can be found HERE. But basically just pick a car in each class you think will do well. Then you get whatever points that car scores. New for this year is the ability to pick a car for the whole season. This way you don't have to remember to submit picks for each round.

FRC Round 1: Daytona

2015 Qualifying:

P 1:39.194 Shank
PC 1:42.318 BAR1
GTLM 1:44.488 Corvette
GTD 1:47.272 Aston

Corvette was 1:43.4. Practice session is wet I guess. Too bad it won't be that way come race time. GTLM's on top overall again :-)

I'll be in the swamp the rest of the day, but hopefully will be back round qualifying time.

Not anymore! I un-installed that worthless app.

It never really worked for me and was constantly crashing.

Also, watch the battery / data usage. It uses more than you think
