Yes you're absolutely right about the name and the car.

Hi shener. We're you around in the early days of ascar? Just curious if you have any recollections of rob potters 1st gen camaro? I think he won the series in the first year but had a biggie at paddock at the start of the next season and badly damaged the rear end of he car.. It went into storage at Think automotive until it was found some years later ( I own the car) .. Have Been trying for many years to track it's history and how and when it arrived from the USA .. It's alleged to have been shipped over in the early 70's with a cobra .. One of the erly ascar reports describes it as an ex-transam car.. Any comments would be appreciated !

Hi Jeff As much as I would like to help you but unfortunately it must've been before 1984. I think your best bit will be Brine Rice Anthony Wolfe or Jim Mensley if not
90% I am sure Robin Gray will be the man, all I can give you is the web site if its ok to mail it to you.Good luck |

Want to get in touch with Al Weyman
If anyone reads this ancient thread, I want to get in touch with Al Weyman re. his IROC Camaro. I still have two genuine IROC cars here in the UK -- a series 1 and a series 2 (Banjo Matthews car).
