i was reading with interest the cars for next year and i could not help but notice that there are cars from class e going to class d which is a shame as this i think means the class will lose some good old minis . then i read on and there is talk of 16v minis i did not know there were any can someone help i would be interested to see them.

Hi, where did you read about the entries for next year please (other than Rob M's comment on the previous page!)?

I'll be racing our mini for the first time next year after a couple of years in the TWMC All Circuit sprint championship, will most likely start with the SEMSEC Saloons but DMN offers some other circuits so will definitely be looking at that as well.

Chris

We haven't started the registrations for next year yet, these usually come out around December/January time so not sure as to where this info has come from.

Aren't heads free in the DMN these days ? just 16v would bump it up a class.

p.s. Belated Happy Birthday Eric

p.p.s How does the KAD head compare to fitting the BMW motorcycle head to the A series (DOHC 16v or 8v) which I believe you can also buy as a kit ?

A real Mini with BMW bits - is that ok or sacrilege ?

Hi Gavin!
Thanks, looking forward to it, hoping the excitement will be limited to the track rather than the paddock after our problems on the 4th (thanks again for the help, looks like you were getting your hands dirty all day!).
See you on the 25th?
Chris

Hi Rob,
Dad and I are sprinting in the morning and Dad's racing in the afternoon (I haven't done my ARDS yet and think he wants to see how the car goes before I try it next year).
You entered?
See you next week,
Chris
PS - thanks again for the loan of the ignition module, Dad's found our rev limiter was also faulty and killing the ignition so two (probably linked) failures!
