The "agro in qualifying" was a broken cam follower I believe, nothing untoward on the circuit. In fact two very clean races.

Same as DMN, two scores can be dropped this year, provided all the rounds are run.

Been decided today that my car is not worth repairing and needs to be reshelled lucky i got a roversport shell of ebay last year its far from mint but has all the rollcage mounts etc so is a straight foward swap.
My car was one of the original roversport(Daily mirror sponsored) cars from the dunlop rover turbo cup in the mid 90s so had been a race car for 15 years and has done 11k of racing miles.Ive got a good road shell that will be converted for next season.

I put one of the original cages in a road shell (23point fixing - The one from Steve Govetts car) - safety devices made the original cage, and they supplied me with a fitting kit which included all the right shaped brackets, nuts, bolts etc - I'm sure it came to less than £100, but the work it saved, it was worth every penny.(Strangely (well at the time) they only took cheques, not credit/debit cards !!!!!!!!!

p.s The adrenalin photography guys were at Mallory, and have got loads of pictures of most of the Tintop runners from Mallory. I've been looking at them tonight, I'll try and get them to post them on a web site asap if anyone is interested.

I know the feeling, took the head for the Fiesta up to Chesmans, could be repaired but what with the new piston, rod and engine rebuild, not worth it so am looking to get rid of the good parts on the engine and maybe sort another engine for the fiesta.

Engine spec as follows for the people who keep asking and dont believe .
1995 Rover t-series from a 800 vitesse 125k on it
Standard head with standard valves and attacked by a dremmel on the exhaust ports fitted with piper fast road cams, standard injectors, standard inlet manifold.
Block bored and decked and Arias forged pistons on standard rods and standard crank and and a few kgs off the standard flywheel .
A t28 turbo from a nissan pulsar fitted to a tubular manifold made in NZ as it was cheaper to get it made there and shipped over and a free flowing s/s downpipe going to a 2.5 inch exhaust system.
Roversport rad and bigger intercooler i got from ebay.
Standard Rover ecu which no one can chip with the boost cut removed by me to allow a bit more boost.
Roversport gearbox a mixture of standard ratios fitted with a rover 620ti type b torsen diff, topspeed 136ish mph.
Never been on a rolling road so no idea of power guess at 250 to 270bhp so makes a cheap engine really.
