also another issue is 888 a works team this year??? cos if not then I suppose there is no point whatsoever with a manufacturer title if Honda are the sole entry for it !!

Triple 8 are a works team, as are Infiniti. Keep up.

There is only one true works team - Honda, MG simply sorts some parts and pays the manufacturer entry fee, Inifiniti are the same (maybe less)

Yeah, that's what I meant. "Works" in as much as the manufacturer has paid the entry fee.

He was indeed, he used to own the Richard Longman 'Datapost' Fiesta. My Uncle bought it from him (or from the guy who bought it from him, can't remember exactly!) and raced it in club meetings in Scotland. He also runs the Pro Motorsport garage in Lesmahagow just down the road from me!

Definate interest in the S3, though without a TBL to run an extra car I can't see anyone switching cars as all pushing on with development on their current machines. However the 'old' Toyota's will be getting long in the tooth, so it might be a wise investment for one of those teams.
